My Short Story
Hi, I am Alicia Anka. I am a certified life coach and yoga teacher as well as an educator, a mom of two and a world traveller at heart. I created A Balanced Life to assist people in living their best lives and to share my love of yoga with the world.
Over the years, I have worked with all ages as an educator, mentored students on a personal and academic level and had a steady practice of many different types of yoga including: Bikram, Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, Hatha and Yin Yoga.
I like to use what I have learned from all of these experiences to create balanced, goal-based coaching programs for my clients as well as alignment & theme-based yoga classes that focus on breath awareness, fluid movement and stillness.

Yoga Classes
Yoga is a gift that I am eternally grateful for. Over the years, it has helped me to create a more balanced life, inside myself and out in the world.

Currently, I am based in Agoura Hills, California and offer small-group and private yoga classes online and in-person.

In an intimate and supportive setting, you will have the chance to gain strength, flexibility and insight into your own human experience. Beyond just the physical practice, each theme-based, introspective class will allow you to reflect on what makes you feel happy, whole and balanced in life.
